To receive the test, you'll need to submit some assessment forms and schedule an online appointment with a licensed physician. This helps determine if you meet the diagnostic criteria for OSA. If the test confirms you have OSA symptoms, you'll meet with a sleep coach to discuss treatment and other follow-up steps. The test is disposable. You must be 18 years of age to take this test.
- Chest, wrist, and finger sensors measure peripheral arterial tone, heart rate, blood oxygen, actigraphy, body position, snoring, and chest motion
- Testers receive an AHI score in their follow-up email
- Those who meet diagnostic criteria for OSA after testing may be prescribed PAP therapy
- Unopened tests may be returned within 60 days

Amazing this is available to use at home, zoom meetings with specialists, equipment options. I've worked overnights for 25yrs. Sleep studies were only conducted overnight which would have caused a missed shift for me and I don't usually sleep at night anyway. Day sleep studies were not available. My Garmin watch was constantly reported poor not continuous sleep, with very little deep and REM sleep. My O2 levels were dipping into the low 80's at night. My conclusion was the watch is wrong, and i stopped wearing it at night. Problem solved.
I was waking up exhausted, and falling a sleep in the middle of the day. My blood pressure was consistently high at every month doctors appointment for almost a year. I tried exercise and weight loss, but it did not help.
thought I'm just getting old in my 40's and this is how it is. The nurse was talking about the possible need for high blood pressure medication.
I found the sleep doctor online, and debated for months about doing an at home sleep test. I did a lab test in my 20's and I did not want to do that again, and now the wait is even longer.
It was the easiest test to do. I recommend using a little piece of medical tape to hold the chest senor in place. I took the test it with me on a trip to Vancouver BC doing the testing in a quiet environment on a Friday and had the results on Monday. I began my sleep therapy on Thursday.
The sleep specialist made me a shopping cart of equipment including machine and mask. They check in with you first at the two week mark to about the therapy and any adjustments.
My BP is down and my mood and anxiety has improved. I'm glad I finally did the test, it improved my health and quality of life. A mild form of sleep apnea can have significant affects on your health and wellness
