How It Works

The Portable Outlet UPS CPAP Battery functions as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for your CPAP or BiPAP device. You plug your CPAP machine directly into the battery, and the battery plugs into a wall outlet.

While plugged in, it acts as a pass-through power source, automatically switching to battery mode if there’s a power outage—no disruption to your therapy. The battery stores enough energy to power most CPAP machines for 8 to 10 hours and BiPAP machines for 7 to 9 hours, depending on pressure settings and accessories like humidifiers.

How to Use It

  1. Plug the Portable Outlet into a wall socket using the included charger and allow it to fully charge before first use.
  2. Plug your CPAP or BiPAP machine directly into the Portable Outlet’s standard AC port—no special adapters or cables needed.
  3. Leave the battery plugged into the wall while your device is connected. It will automatically switch to battery power if electricity goes out.
  4. To use while traveling or off the grid, simply disconnect the battery from the wall and power your machine using the stored charge.
  5. After each use, especially following an outage or travel, recharge the battery to maintain optimal performance.

On average, the Portable Outlet provides 8 to 10 hours of power for most CPAP machines at a pressure setting of 10, with the heated tubing turned off and the humidifier set to low or off.

Charge the Portable Outlet to 100% before using it for the first time. During the initial charge, the battery level may not increase for the first 10 to 20 minutes—this is completely normal.

Yes, the battery meets all FAA and TSA carry-on regulations. You can bring it in your carry-on luggage without needing special documentation. Do not place it in checked luggage.

The Portable Outlet can power and charge most small, shoulder-carried portable oxygen concentrators. However, it is not compatible with continuous flow models or units weighing more than 7 pounds.
