Shrinking the components of a standard CPAP machine to fit into a smaller shell gives travel machines a shorter lifespan when used every day. Most people also prefer standard humification features to waterless humidification for daily use.

You should choose a travel CPAP machine that suits your medical needs, personal preferences, favorite ways to travel, and budget. It can help to make a list of features — such as APAP settings or external battery compatibility — that you need your machine to have.
