Available for queen, king, and split king beds, the portable comfort system works with any mattress and bed frame style (including adjustable), and the unit fits underneath any bed frames that have 6 inches of clearance, so it can be tucked out of sight.

How It Works

Get set up: Slide the BedJet unit under your bed or place it at the foot of the bed, depending on your preference. Attach the air hose to the BedJet and secure it with the provided clips, directing the hose under your sheets or comforter. Then, plug the unit into a standard wall outlet.

Turn on and get comfortable: Plug in the BedJet 3 unit. Use the remote to adjust your bed temperature from 66 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Then you can either set it and forget it or program custom heating and cooling profiles for every hour of the night. 

Set the alarm: You can use the app or remote to program your sleep and wake-up schedule, customizing the temperature throughout the night to match your body’s natural sleep cycles. Set a gentle, warming temperature to wake you up without the jarring sound of an alarm clock.

Product Care and Maintenance

The only regular maintenance BedJet 3 requires is removing and cleaning the air filter every three months. You’ll never need to replace the lifetime filter. However, if you have pets sleeping in or next to your bed, you should check the air filter more often. 

To clean the air filter:

  1. Simultaneously press the filter icons on either side of the grill to release the air intake grill.
  2. Remove the filter and rinse both sides.
  3. Allow the filter to dry and replace.

Warranty and Customer Service

All BedJet systems come with a two-year warranty that begins the day you receive the product. It covers the BedJet unit and parts, Cloud Sheets, and BedJet accessories ordered from the manufacturer. The warranty is not transferable to new owners of used units. If you want added protection, you can purchase a four-year extended protection plan for $99. BedJet partners with third-party Mulberry for this service.

How loud is the BedJet?

The BedJet 3 is a quiet source of air, measuring 38 to 39 decibels on low to medium settings. Even high and turbo settings (run time limit of 10 minutes) don’t exceed 43 decibels. During a night of typical use, BedJet sounds like a light breeze or a high-energy air conditioning system. Many say the calm sound is a soothing white noise that helps them sleep better. 

How much power does the BedJet use?

In cooling mode, each unit draws up to 50 watts of power. In typical heat modes, the unit consumes 150 to 1,500 watts, depending on the setting. The 1,500 watt turbo heat setting can only run for a maximum of 10 minutes. You’ll only need five minutes of turbo heat to warm the bed. A low power setting limits heat and turbo modes to a maximum of 800 watts. Run BedJet 3 on a typical 15A bedroom AC circuit. 

Can I use the BedJet on only one side of my bed?

Yes, BedJet 3 can heat and cool just one side of your bed. Use the system with existing bedding or a Cloud Sheet that will prevent air from traveling to the other side. You have two options:

  1. Twin XL Cloud Sheet: This size covers one side, allowing personalized airflow.
  2. Dual Zone Cloud Sheet: Share the same top sheet with a partner while allowing BedJet air to flow on the selected side only.

What is the BedJet made from?

The BedJet is BPA-free and made from both polypropylene (PP) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastics. PP plastic, a food-grade plastic commonly found in reusable water bottles, is used in the air hose and attachment parts closest to the bed. ABS plastic — considered very safe and used to make many consumer products — is used in the main unit. 

How long will the BedJet last?

If you run BedJet 3 for eight hours every night, you can estimate at least seven years of use — not factoring in running the motor at lower speeds and for less time.

Is it safe to use my BedJet with pets?

Yes, using BedJet 3 with pets is safe. However, you should keep your pet away from the air delivery nozzle to ensure optimum airflow, especially if your pet likes to chew furniture. The good news is, BedJet covers damage from any accident under its two-year warranty. 

Does the BedJet work with adjustable beds?

BedJet works with adjustable beds. To set up the system, situate the base unit farther away from the nozzle. The flexible air hose allows for keeping the nozzle in place while your bed adjusts up and down.

Here’s some advice for using BedJet with an adjustable bed.

  • Find a space under the adjustable bed frame with 6 inches of clearance so you can fit the unit underneath.
  • Test fit the BedJet by running through your adjustable frame’s full range of motion to be sure it does not crush the system, stopping short of causing damage if clearance is tight.
  • BedJet works with most adjustable beds, but if yours is not cooperating, the company offers a 60-day guarantee with free return shipping (for unsquashed BedJets).

Where can I find the BedJet Smart Remote App?

The free BedJet Smart Remote App is available for iOS and Android devices. It offers the same features as the BedJet remote, including one-touch memory keys, programmable biorhythm cycle scheduling, and customizable sleep temperature settings. The app also allows you to configure your home WiFi connection to update BedJet software as needed.
