The ResMed AirFit™ P10 is an unobtrusive nasal mask with a quiet, lightweight design. The split-strap design reduces facial contact to achieve maximum comfort. QuietAir mesh venting helps minimize noise upon exhalation. Specialized tubing is durable but flexible to enable freedom of movement without breaking the mask’s seal.

ResMed suggests the following steps for keeping your mask clean and in good condition:

  1. The mask components should be washed after every use, except for the headgear which should be washed weekly
  2. All components should be fully disassembled before cleaning
  3. Non-headgear components should be cleaned in warm, soapy water
  4. The mesh vent should be cleaned with a soft-bristle brush such as a toothbrush
  5. The headgear should be left to soak in warm, soapy water before being cleaned with a soft-bristle brush
  6. All components should be rinsed in clean water before being left to dry out of direct sunlight

What is a nasal pillow CPAP Mask?

Nasal pillow CPAP masks inflate to create a seal inside the user’s nostrils. Like nasal cushions, which seal against a user’s skin, nasal pillow masks are not suitable for people who breathe through their mouth or have a high air pressure prescription. 

Who should use the ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

The AirFit P10’s proprietary mesh vents make this an exceptionally quiet mask that is ideal for light sleepers. People who experience claustrophobia, or who want to watch TV in bed, may also like this mask for its extremely low profile. 

Who shouldn’t use the ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

Nasal pillow masks can be very uncomfortable when used with a high air pressure level, so people with this prescription may want to choose a different mask. The AirFit P10, like other nasal masks, is also unsuitable for people who breathe through their mouth while asleep. 

Are the ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask’s pillows replaceable?

The AirFit P10 nasal pillows should be replaced every three to six months. ResMed also suggests that you replace your pillows if they begin to leak or show signs of wear. 

How do I know which size to choose for the ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

The standard AirFit P10 fits most people, including many women, while the For Her model is the better choice for people with very small facial features. Both models come with three nasal pillow sizes so that you can choose the pillow that works best for you. 

Which CPAP machines can I use with the ResMed AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

The AirFit P10 works with all CPAP, BiPAP, and APAP machines that use a standard 22-millimeter tubing connection. This mask is not compatible with the ResMed AirMini, but you can purchase the ResMed AirMini P10 Mask Pack if you want to use this mask style with your travel CPAP machine.

    P10 Nasal pillow CPAP Mask

    I am quickly learning that getting used to using a CPAP machine takes a bit of time to "dial it in"! As Sleep Doctor mentions in much of their literature/videos, the mask fit, and comfort is a big part of successful treatment. This nasal pillow mask is super comfortable and non-invasive. It has reached a point where I hardly realize it's there. The only issue is that the straps move around a bit if you toss and turn during the night like I do. Other than that, the mask is great and the "mask fit" every night has been "great" with the nasal pillows.
