What is the iNap System and how does it work?

The iNap System is an intermittent negative airway pressure device that creates a vacuum inside of your mouth, moving your tongue and soft tissues forward and out of your airway. Instead of having to wear a mask, you simply place the oral interface in your mouth and let your lips close naturally around the thin tubing.

Who can benefit from the iNap System?

The iNap System can effectively treat adults with mild to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). It is particularly helpful for those who find continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy difficult, as it feels significantly different and is less likely to trigger feelings of claustrophobia.

Who should not use the iNap System?

Although the iNap System is an effective sleep apnea treatment, it may not be the right choice for you if:
-You breathe through your mouth while asleep
-You cannot breathe easily through your nose
-You have chronic nasal or sinus issues
-You have problems with your teeth, gums, or soft palate
-You have had uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP)

Do I need a prescription to buy or rent the iNap System?

The iNap System is considered a medical device and is only available with a prescription. If you don’t have a prescription or if your prescription has expired, we can help! Simply purchase or rent the iNap to schedule an appointment with a member of our third-party network of licensed sleep specialists.

Does insurance cover the iNap System?

Insurance providers do not currently cover the iNap System. If you want to try the iNap System before committing to the full price, you may be interested in using the iNap rental program.
