Z2 Auto CPAP

The Z2 Auto CPAP produces 26 decibels (dB) of noise at its loudest. This is considered whisper-quiet, and shouldn’t cause sleep disturbances for you or your fellow airline passengers.

The Z2 Auto gives you the option to add a PowerShell® battery pack. The PowerShell® is designed to provide a whole night's worth of therapy even when there's no electricity available.

Continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) therapy involves pressure delivered to the user at a fixed level that aligns with their obstructive sleep apnea diagnosis. With automatic positive air pressure (APAP), the device adjusts pressure settings throughout the night based on the user’s breathing patterns. Many sleepers prefer the flexible air delivery of APAP compared to CPAP’s fixed pressure settings. The Z2 Auto CPAP allows you to receive CPAP and APAP therapy.

Like other travel CPAP devices on the market, the Z2 Auto CPAP can be used with a waterless humidification system. The Z2 heat moisture exchange (HME) is an external component that draws in moisture from your breathing and uses it to humidify the connective hose. This is convenient for travel because you won’t need to empty water out of your device prior to flying or track down distilled water once you reach your destination.

Your Z2 Auto comes with a power cord you can use to charge the device in an electrical outlet. The machine is also compatible with the Breas CPAP PowerShell external battery, which charges the Z2 Auto for up to two nights — though this accessory is sold separately.

The Z2 Auto CPAP is FAA-compliant and has been approved for in-flight use. The device automatically compensates for altitudes of up to 8,000 feet.
