The AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST is a bilevel device with a backup rate that provides exceptional patient-ventilator synchrony. This reduces the work of breathing and ensures patients remain comfortable and well-ventilated. The device is an ideal choice for reliable, cost-effective, and noninvasive ventilation when alarms are not required.

What is bilevel positive air pressure?

During bi-level positive air pressure (BiPAP) therapy, your device delivers pressure at two different levels: one setting for inhalations, and another for exhalations. This makes BPAP more flexible and comfortable compared to standard CPAP, which delivers pressure at a single fixed setting throughout the night.

Who should use the ResMed AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST

People who need different pressure levels when breathing in and out can benefit from the AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST. The heated humidifier is also a good match for PAP users who frequently experience congestion or dry mouth. Since this machine is fairly expensive, you may face high out-of-pocket costs.

How does ClimateLineAir 10 Heated Tubing work?

ClimateLineAir 10 connective tubing links the AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST to your face mask, creating a channel for pressurized air to flow directly into your breathing passages. Sensors embedded in the tubing monitor temperature and humidity, then automatically tweak these settings based on how much moisture is detected in the tubing. Please note ClimateLineAir tubing is compatible with the AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST, but sold separately.

How loud is the ResMed AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST?

The ResMed AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST produces roughly 27 decibels (dBA) of noise at its loudest volume. This is considered whisper-quiet.

Can I use the ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV on an airplane?

The AirCurve 10 BiPAP ST is FAA-compliant, so you may use the device on an airplane. Some airlines require a doctor’s note for passengers who wish to receive PAP therapy during their flight.
