The ResMed AirFit™ F20 is a full-face mask featuring the proprietary InfinitySeal, a flexible cushion designed to maintain a secure seal and ensure proper pressurization at all times. The adjustable straps are soft and flexible, adaptive wings gently hug the side of your head, and the forehead is open to provide full visibility.

Both the standard and “For Her” AirFit F20 are available in small, medium, and large cushion sizes.

  • Headgear has magnetic clips to help you put on and remove the mask with ease
  • Quick-release elbow port instantly detaches from the connective hose
  • QuietAir vent reduces noise to 21 dB
  • Silicone cushion
  • Compatible with the ResMed Memory Foam Cushion
  • Replacement headgear and replacement cushion available

Important Update: On 9/6/2022, the FDA issued a voluntary recall of this product to alert customers that the magnetic clips may interfere with the performance of certain metallic medical devices. Patients should not use this mask if they or someone close by has any of these devices implanted in their body.We recommend this product for:

  • Side sleepers
  • People with facial hair
  • Those who need quiet environments to sleep

Full face masks seal around both your nose and mouth, which ensures that you receive the correct air pressure even with your mouth open. Traditional full face masks span from the bridge of your nose to your chin, while some newer designs have a smaller footprint.

The AirFit F20’s traditional full face design appeals to people who breathe through their mouth, as well as people with high air pressure prescriptions. Unlike many CPAP masks, it is also a good choice for people with facial hair.

The AirFit F20 uses magnetic clips that can interfere with some metallic medical devices and implants, so you should choose a different CPAP mask if you or your partner has one of these devices. The AirFit F20 is also less suitable than lower-profile full face masks for people who experience claustrophobia.

The AirFit F20’s silicone cushions are replaceable. Most people replace their cushion every six months, although it should be replaced sooner if it starts to leak, or if it begins to show signs of wear or damage

ResMed provides a sizing guide for the AirFit F20 that can help you choose the right option. It is important to double-check that the document is to scale when printing, as not doing so can cause you to choose the wrong size.

The AirFit F20 can be used with PAP machines that have a standard 22-millimeter hose connection. Unlike many other masks, the AirFit F20 can also be used with the ResMed AirMini travel CPAP machine, though it requires a special elbow adapter manufactured by ResMed.

To replace the cushion on your ResMed AirFit F20, simply pop out the current cushion and click the new cushion into place. ResMed recommends changing out the cushion in your mask once a month.

To clean the ResMed AirFit F20, first disassemble the mask so that the cushion, elbow port, headgear, and frame are separated. Clean the cushion and port daily by scrubbing with a soft brush in warm water with mild dishwashing liquid. Once a week, clean the headgear and frame in the same manner. Leave each part to dry on a towel away from direct sunlight, and wait until everything is completely dry to reassemble the mask.

To fit your CPAP mask, place the mask over your nose and mouth and adjust the straps until they feel snug but not too tight. You should be able to fit one finger underneath the strap. Then, lie down in bed to ensure the mask feels comfortable in your usual sleeping position. With masks like the ResMed AirFit F20, your order includes cushions in different sizes. Try all available options to determine your ideal cushion size.

Having Trouble with this mask. I realize people have personal preferences when it comes to equipment but for me airflow not consistent on this one causing problems staying asleep. I switched back to nose pillow but plan on trying it again.

    ResMed mask

Poor fitment. Mask smaller than expected compared to other makes. Head gear moves a lot while sleeping.
