ResMed AirTouch ™ F20 Full Face CPAP Mask

I'm kind of stuck using a full face mask due to a deviated septum that's so bad that one sinus is nearly shut. When I first started using my CPAP at the beginning of the year, I started with the mask with the silicone seal but found that the bridge of my nose was getting irritated. I switched to this model with the memory foam and found it to be much more comfortable.

I’m actually writing this review, not because of the mask because I haven’t yet been able to try it but due to my own fault. But I did want to have the chance to commend the tremendous customer service that I received from Rhonda. She was able to resolve through photos my mask connector fproblem and then once it was resolved, I found that I had compromised one of the silicone flaps trying to fix it. Rhonda was as patient as could be AND sent me a replacement even though it wasn’t my fault. And most noteworthy of all: when I asked her how I could write a very positive review on customer service, she told me it wasn’t necessary because “helping me to resolve the situation was sufficient reward.”

I almost want my Sleep Apnea to get worse just to experience more great customer service 🤣. I will ONLY work with Sleep Doctor and many videos for Rhonda.

For many years, I used a mask with nasal pillows, but then found myself opening my mouth at night. The leak rate revealed this. I previously had purchased a full mask for times when my nose was stopped up. This was very uncomfortable and too small. The Res-Med mask comes in different sizes unlike the first and large size suits me. The foam will eventually becomes deformed, about 6 months in my case, causing leaks. One either purchases a replacement part or a new mask.

The mask is comfortable, I like the magnetic connection of the straps, it makes donning and doffing the mask easy. However, to get a good seal I need to tighten the straps so much that even after showering and an average commute I reach work with the telltale CPAP dents on my face and neck. Luckily, nobody cares. This is my first mask, so I cannot compare it to others.
